Yuichi Abe

Yuichi is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Cambridge office and all products and services development at Informetis Europe.

Prior to working for Informetis, Yuichi worked for Sony Corporation in Japan. He engaged in developing cloud system, home network system, super reality audio-visual system and 3D CG application in R&D division.

Yuichi has a Master in Management of Technology (MOT, Professional) from Shibaura Institute of Technology in Japan and a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from Keio University in Japan.

Boruo Xu

Boruo has developed an energy disaggregation algorithm which is the foundation for all the products.

Before joining Informetis Europe, Boruo pursued a PhD degree in High Energy Physics from University of Cambridge. Boruo used machine learning techniques to improve a particle reconstruction software and presented his work in many international conferences. His work has also been published in peer reviewed Journals.

Boruo has a Msci in Physics from University of Cambridge and a BA (First Class Hons) in Natural Science from University of Cambridge.

Marc Reynolds

Marc’s main responsibility is acting as the technical interface to the business's customers, helping to develop potential future collaborations whilst managing both technical issues and enquiries. Marc also manages business compliance and supported the business in achieving its ISO 27001 certification.

Prior to joining Informetis Europe, Marc spent 20 years in the Automotive sector in a variety of engineering, service and project management based roles.

Marc is a Chartered Engineer and member of the IET, and has an MSc in Professional Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and a BSc (First Class Hons) in Engineering from the University of Northampton.

Javier Garcia-Herreros

Javi' responsibilities are ensuring the productivity of the development team while maintaining the highest quality, reliability and flexibility required by our clients, analysing and incorporating customer requests in the workflow and monitoring the products performance once released while being part of the development team. 

Before joining Informetis, Javi worked as software developer at Knowledge Transmission.

Javi as a Master degree in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence from and Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from University of Málaga. 

Senior Board Advisor

Jay Chinnadorai

Jay’s responsibilities include providing the overall strategic and business direction for Informetis. Jay is also Founder and Managing Director of Sumtotal, a strategy, product and business development consultancy, established in 2004. In addition, Jay is a Crown Representative for the Cabinet Office.

Prior to founding Sumtotal, Jay was Vice President of Sony Europe responsible for different business units including Mobile Phones, Digital Set-Top Boxes and the Mobile Service Provider Business. Before joining Sony, Jay worked at Thomson Consumer Electronics as Marketing Director of its UK and Ireland Operations.

Jay has an MBA from Manchester Business School (MBA) and a BSc (First Class Hons) in Electronic Engineering from University College London. He is a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors. He is also a Business Leader of the Marketing Society.
